Tottenham to reward Mauricio Pochettino with new deal amid Chelsea and Manchester United interest

New deal: Spurs are ready to reward their Argentine boss
Tottenham are ready to offer Mauricio Pochettino a new improved contract to ward off Chelsea and Manchester United.
The Spurs boss has three and a half years remaining on his current deal and has built a strong bond of mutual trust with chairman Daniel Levy.
But Levy is keen to reward Pochettino for building a young team which looks likely to achieve Champions League qualification despite the club having made a profit in the transfer market since his arrival in 2014.
The Argentine earns a basic wage of around £3.5million per year but that figure will be increased significantly if he commits to a longer-term deal.
Pochettino is described as having ‘free rein’ over the football side of the club - with Levy granting him more power than any of his previous managers.Read More
